Welcoming your new baby into the world is one of the most magical and emotional times in your life. Newborn photography truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity; your new baby is only so small for a very short time. I love to capture all of these feelings and present them in stunning images for you to cherish and hold onto forever. Photography really is amazing, it has the power to help you relive these magical moments and bring back all the emotions from particular moments in our lives.
Every photography session is completely bespoke for each client. With a wide variety of colour palettes to choose from, I aim to produce creative, yet timeless images using colours and textures that compliment your baby's skin tones and your living space. We will plan your session together, before the day, so that you can be fully prepared and safe in the knowledge that your images will be more than you imagined to display in your home.
When is best to book?
The ideal time to photograph newborn babies is when they are between 4 and 14 days fresh. Older babies (up to 8 weeks) may be booked in for my Signature Newborn Experience too, but they may not be as flexible and ‘curly’ as true newborns, so bare this in mind. If your baby is already older than 8 weeks, don’t worry! We can still create some incredibly precious images, so please do contact me to check availability and discuss the options.
Most of my clients book their newborn photography experience with me when they reach their 20 week scan. As we all know, babies are notoriously choosy about when they finally make their appearance into the world! To allow for this, I can only accept 12 newborn bookings each month, so it is important to secure your session as soon as you can.
Upon booking, I will pencil your newborn photography experience into my diary 7-10 days after your due date, but we won't make a firm date until you have contacted me to say your baby has arrived.
If your baby is already here, I may have availability in my diary if scheduled babies have arrived early or have decided to stay put just a little bit longer - again, please do enquire.
